The City of Albany and Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the fire. DALLAS (AP) — Kim Mulkey returned home to Louisiana wanting to bring LSU its first basketball championship. The Hall of Fame coach did just that in only her second year at the school.Her Tigers used a record offensive performance to beat Caitlin Clark and Iowa 102-85 on Sunday and win the first basketball title, men's or women's, in school history.“I turn around and look at the Final Four banners (in the home arena), nowhere did it say national champion,” Mulkey said. “That’s what I came home to do.”The victory made Mulkey the first women's coach to win national titles at two different schools. The search for a new center already is over for the Colorado men’s basketball team.On Sunday, former TCU center Eddie Lampkin Jr. announced via his social media accounts that he is joining the Buffaloes through the transfer portal.Lampkin appeared in 24 games (19 starts) for the Horned Frogs this past season, averaging 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds for a team that reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to Gonzaga.A 6-foot-11, 263-pound post player, Lampkin shot 55.2% from the floor. Homicide detectives investigating after man found shot to death in San Bernardino County

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead Sunday in Chino, authorities announced.  The discovery came after officers with the Chino Police Department responded to calls of a possible dead body in the 5400 block of Philadelphia Avenue just after 2 a.m., a Chino PD news release stated. When police arrived at the scene, they located a man who had been the victim of a shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene and investigators determined that the man had been the victim of a homicide.  No further information about the victim’s identity or age was provided, nor was there any mention of how many suspects may have been involved in the shooting.  While authorities say there is no immediate threat to the public, they are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact Chino Police Department detectives at 909-334-3307.
